Indexed from What's New (top left) : Callander Poetry Weekend... Ten items or less shopping... Unpoems become poems... Stirling Castle writing project.

You couldnt make it up: At the Safari park down the road at Blair Drummond, some boy car racers (obviously from Callander) had run their car into the lions' field in the night. They climbed out with cans of lager etc and were fooling around in the field. The police were called and shouted to them to get over the fence quickly.
We've got our lions in that field! shouted the keeper .
We werenae gonnae touch your fckin lions! replied the lads.

Blogs (see left) cover many activities this summer, leading up to Callander Poetry Weekend 5-7 September 2008 see blog page left)
