Hi! humm... where do I start? Caylawn is my easier to pronounce adaptation of Caolainn, a Celtic figure. She was the guardian of a magical wishing well. She aimed to teach wishers that they didn't really want what they wished for.
Well, I'm 17 years old and in grade 12. I live in Canada, eh.
I started reading about Wicca well over a year ago. The first book I read (The Total Idiot's Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft) was just randomly pulled off the library shelf. Then my older brother literally threw Teen Witch (by Silver RavenWolf) at me. Thus it began.
I called myself an ecletic witch at first, but I didn't want to use such an umbrella term. Many people do the same because they aren't sure what they want to be. So now I'm a solitary practitioner with a focus on Celtic Paganism.
After I graduate this year, I am hoping to pursue a career in media studies. The media and journalism fascinates me. I'm also very interested in the dramatic arts, but I don't know if I could pursue a career in it. This year, I co-wrote and starred in an original one-act play which won an Outstanding Production Award at the Ontario Sears Drama Festival.
Myself and D'arcy (we've been friends for almost 6 years) discovered Wicca seperately. It was a while after I got into it that I found out she was also studying.
I hope you like this site. I have my own ideas about eenTay itchWay; I'd like it to be a place where teens can better understand the concepts and basics of paganism. Surprisingly, I was disappointed with the web sites I was finding. I want eenTay itchWay to be what I had been looking for on the internet.

I call myself D'Arcy, meaning "dark." Like Caylawn, I'm 17 years old, in grade twelve, and I live in Ontario. Cay and I have been good friends for years, though we each found Wicca seperately. We are good friends to this day.
I love camping, watersports, and swimming. I enjoy going on canoe trips with my friends and I'm actively involved in Girl Guides. I also love art, drama, reading, music, my cottage, having crazy adventures and misadventures with friends and other such fun. My favourite subjects in school are biology, english, ancient civilizations, and anthropology/sociology/psychology. I am really interested in the media, literature, and psychology. I have an avid interest in the occult an all that it entails as well as religion in general.
I'm not really sure how I became interested in Witchcraft and Paganism. All I can really say is that I've been interested in certain aspects of the Occult ever since I was a child and once I was exposed to Witchcraft and Paganism, something clicked. Cay and I wanted to design this site because we were both frustrated by the lack of information and support for Pagan and Wiccan teens on the internet. I wanted to create something different; something new. I think that I'm a really friendly, unique, and intelligent person and I'm looking forward to establishing a terrific relationship with all the members on eenTay. I sincerely hope that you'll love our site!
So..
