Frightmares
Opened: 1995

HISTORY & INFO
Lagoon's annual autumn event began in 1995. The brochures printed in early 1995 refer to it as the Halloween Haunt. It was changed to Frightmares by the time it opened. Here's what Amber from Clearfield, Utah remembers about the first Frightmares at Lagoon:

"I worked the first Frightmares in 1995 they only had the one spook alley (the one with the two scary clowns on the front) when you went in at the beginning they gave away free toy prizes for anyone who would stop to play the gruesome games and a little fun fact in the room that they called the "Mirror Maze" room (which really was not a maze at all it was only a small room with foil glued to the walls and floor made to look like broken glass) it had the original old fun house mirrors in it placed up against the walls."

Below are the Frightmares attractions for this year and past years. You can find more information at Lagoon's official Frightmares page or at the information booth near the entrance.
