PIONEER VILLAGE  RIDES 12. STAGECOACH - A ride through parts of Pioneer Village that you can't reach by foot. 34. LOG FLUME - Splashing guests since 1976. ATTRACTIONS 1. MORMON FURNITURE EXHIBIT - Examples of early local furniture. 3. MUSIC HALL - Antique musical instruments. 4. VILLAGE PRINT SHOP - An old print shop. It used to have Deseret News painted on the window. 5. COBBLER SHOP - Cobblers made & repaired shoes. But you already knew that, right? 6. ROCKPORT CO-OP. An old co-op. 7. VILLAGE CHINA SHOP - Very, VERY fragile memories. 8. DRUG STORE - A large collection of expired medicine. You can also by Snelgrove's Ice Cream cones here. 9. PIONEER KITCHEN DISPLAY - The official name of this museum is unknown. It displays old furnaces, ice picks & several other items. 11. LOG HOME - A very small living space, but apparently it was all they needed. 13. TELEPHONE MUSEUM - Displays of old telephones and an old operator's switchboard. 14. DAVID E. SPERRY MODEL RAILROAD MUSEUM - Walls lined with miniature train cars and the home of Lagoon's old No.999. 15. GEORGE SIMMONS PROP BLACKSMITH - A blacksmith's workshop. 16. TOY & DOLL COLLECTION - The toy collection is in the same building as the Miniature Circus. 17. DON OGDEN'S MINIATURE CIRCUS - A tiny model showing how it used to be a big event when the Circus came to town. 18. CARRIAGE HALL - This large building houses a variety of horse-drawn vehicles such as a fire wagon & an horse-drawn hearse. 21. SILVER PALACE BARBER SHOP / MILLINERY - Walk in and see an old-fashioned barber shop. Upstairs is the Millinery with ladies' hats & dresses. 22. DR. DUNFORD'S DENTIST OFFICE - And you thought getting dental work is painful in our age! 23. POST OFFICE - The mail must go through! 24. KELLERSBERGER MEAT CO. - A butcher shop. 25. CLOCK SHOP - The workplace of a maker of timepieces. 26. BAKERY - Still serves delicious baked goods. 27. VILLAGE GREEN - A shady green lawn to rest or have a picnic. 31. SPACE RACERS - This is a game like the midway games. Space Racers is the only name I could find on it. 44. MORMON CRAFTSMANSHIP DISPLAY - A display of Mormon craftsmanship...of course. 45. SCHOOLHOUSE - An actual one-room schoolhouse. 46. WANSHIP CABIN - One of the few exhibits where you can still go upstairs. 47. MEAT PARLOR - A bunch of meat just hanging around. 49. COALVILLE CHURCH HOUSE - This building was used for several different things. It's presented here as a church. 50. ERASTUS BINGHAM CABIN - The Bingham Copper Mine was named after the owner of this cabin. (One of my ancestors, by the way.) 51. PRISON - This prison was first used for unruly Lagoon guests. Of course, that was a very, very long time ago. 52. GINGERBREAD HOUSE - Don't even try to eat it. It's just the style of house. 53. JACOB T. BIGLER CABIN - If you were good friends with Jacob Bigler, you might recognize this place. 54. TOWN HALL / OLD ENGINE HOUSE - A Town Hall with adjacent Fire House. 55. GUN COLLECTION - An impressive collection of old guns, rifles, cannons, swords & more. 56. BONANZA SHOOTING GALLERY - Closed at the end of 2003. A new game opened here during Frightmares in 2004. 57. CURRENCY, TOKEN & SILVER COLLECTION - Tons of outdated money and other interesting displays. 2. ARBY'S - Recently the old General Store was completely renovated into a very appealing Arby's Restaurant. You can eat inside the air-conditioned building or behind the building outside in a shady dining area. 24. OLDE MILL - Home of the famous Barbecued Corn. They also serve lots of other items here. 25. RATTLESNAKE GRUB - Stop and eat at Rattlesnake Rapids Plaza. 11. SNELGROVE ICE CREAM SHOP - They usually give you your money's worth here. There are several flavors to choose from for your big ice cream cone. 19. PIONEER VILLAGE BAKERY / PRETZELMAKER - Serving cookies, fudge, pretzels & more. SHOPS, ETC. 10. RESTROOMS - Drinking Fountains are located between #15 & #14 on the map and also near the Log Flume entrance. 19. OLD TIME PHOTO PORTRAITS - Pose in front of the old-fashioned camera dressed in 19th Century clothing. 20. GRANDMA CHRISTIE'S TOYS & TREATS - A new shop. The old Carousel horses still decorate the interior. 32. PEDDLER'S PLACE - A small souvenir & gift shop. Nearby you'll see Houston, the old engine from the Wild Kingdom Train on display as a Rattlesnake Rapids R.R. train. PICNIC TERRACES 28. PIONEER PAVILION - The oldest & largest pavilion in Pioneer Village. 35. SILVER REEF - Built in 2000. 36. GOLD SPRINGS - Built in 2000. 37. COAL CITY - Built in 2000. 38. MINER'S BASIN - Built in 2000. 39. COPPERFIELD - Built in 2000. 40. GROUP FOOD SERVICES 41. ROCKPORT - Built in 2001. 42. CASTLE ROCK - Built in 2001. 43. PARK VALLEY - Built in 2001. 48. IRONTOWN - Built in 2000.
