Dear Rocky

I miss you so much. You were my always having a bad fur day kid. No matter what we did your fur stood up. I miss cuddling with you and all your kisses. You always gave me lots of kisses. Sometimes I think that I feel you climbing up my leg because you want to be picked up and held. You liked to be held a lot. I know that while I was holding you and walking around that you wanted to see all the up high things that you were missing while you were on the floor. I also know that you were making plans as I was carrying you on how you wer going to get into all thoses high up things. You were a very smart boy.Dad really misses the way you would jump up into his arms, so he would carry you around. You were are highest jumber and got into a lot more no no places then anybody else did. Scoots misses you to. He spent a week looking for his best bud. He wouldn't eat or play. Don't worry about him though he is doing better now.

Mickey, one of the ferrets I adopted from the Christmas Giving Tree
this year, has been very ill for a long time and he made his final trip to the vet this afternoon for help along his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. He joins his four cagemates, who all preceded him in death the past few months; and without them he just gave up his will to live. He was a strong little guy, but his heart got broken time and time again in his short life on this earth.

Mickey was such a precious, gentle, cuddly little boy and I can't
believe how attached I've gotten to him though I only know him from the stories and the pictures his shelter mommy sends. I wish so much that I had had a chance to be his forever mom. I can't imagine why he never got a 'forever home, someone to call him "my baby" or be his "forever mommy".

God bless you, precious little Mickey......sleep well little angel and
know that you are loved, even though we never had a chance to hold you in our arms and tell you.
