First of all, we'd all like to welcome you to Flame Of Hope.

We sincerely hope that you will read the array of information on the Message Boards and Pages. 

We hope you will find this enlightening, and we also hope you will contribute further new information.  If you are looking for something special, which we do not yet have, let us know your needs and we will find this for you.

No politics or religious debating, please, because this site is for the teens and for the concerns of teens.  There are many wonderful sites where adult debates are appropriate and sought.  Any such distracting postings here -- will be deleted.

Mission Statement: 

This site attempts to address one single issue; the depressed and pre-suicidal teen. Professional information is available. Staffed by compassionate people who have survived the tribulations of teen crisis.

Like most people, you may have your messages set to receive them in your email.  And you will see something posted and you will respond to it from your email. 

On Flame of Hope, you will want to click on the subject title (instead of Reply) so you can see whether the posting is one of a series of documents where an inserted response would be a distraction.  Most of our message boards are documentary in nature and they are meant to stand alone as information references.  Responses are, of course, welcome on the General message board.

If you have joined as a member, or wish to join the staff, please go to the  page ( Who We Are )and add your profile information.

Staff members should check to see if any new members have joined on the What's New page and join in welcoming them on the General Message Board.
