Welcome to Patti's Place! This page is dedicated to the memory of our beloved friend and sister of breast cancer...Patti Sorensen. Although she left this world in April of 2004, Patti's spirit and zest for life will never be forgotten at Friends In Touch. She was one of our Assistant Managers and a member of our Comfort Care Team... and we miss her greatly. Patti loved many things, but her God and her family always came first in her life... as you can see by the pictures below.

When Patti came to Friends In Touch, she shared her gift of creating graphics with all of our members. She made countless "siggies" for anyone who asked. Along with Mary, she helped design the quilt squares on our Friendship and Memory Quilts. Her favorite quilt square is pictured below and features a precious bear holding a heart that says: "Never Give Up."
Patti never gave up her fight... and these words will always ring true for those of us who knew and loved her. She never complained, never showed fear... and most of all, she never lost faith throughout her countless encounters with breast cancer. Patti was a shining star and an amazing example for everyone who has fought the fight.
