OOC Rules for the New Jedi Order

1. No Padawan what-so-ever may be allowed to marry during their time of Apprenticeship. (This does not affect already established marriages)

2. No Padawan under the age of 16 may be allowed to test. Mosts Knights are rarely Knighted before the age of 20 and Masters below the age of 30 are rare. 35 is an acceptable age for Masterhood; 25 is probably the oldest age a Padawan may want to train until. Padawans must be apprenticed by 16 or else stay at the Praxeum until he is legible to be a Junior Jedi Knight (Jedi Knights sanctioned by the Praxeum Admin and cannot take a Padawan). Apprenticeship must last minimum of 1-2 months in real life. Enrollment in the academy lasts at least 3 lectures and assignments of primary level; 2 lectures and tests/assignments of secondary level and 1 graduation trial. (Knights pick from these graduates)

3. Padawans under the age of 16 are not to posess or use full powered lightsabers until after the age restriction for weapons under Nubian law is satisfied. Adult Padawans may posess a full powered lightsaber or weapon under Nubian law but only with Masters approval. Padawans from 16 and over may be allowed to build their sabers with their Masters’ approval as part of their training.

4. Padawans are to show proper respect to their Masters, other Knights or Masters at all times and like-wise others should show respect to other Jedi too.

5. Padawans and Apprentices are to use the term "Master" when referring to their teacher unless given permission by their Master to use any others. All Padawans refer to other Jedi Knights/Masters as “Master [insert name]”. It is proper courtesy and etiquette for Knights and Masters to refer to each other as the same too regardless of status.

6. Padawans are to adhere to a schedule set by their Master. (This refers to IC adherance only. Masters cannot dictate OOC when Padawans must be online for training)

7. Padawans are to never become part of a seperate organization, ie. UFF or Nubian Fleet, during their time spent as an Apprentice unless assigned by the Jedi Council. Initiates and Padawans who are already come from another organization/faction/race can be accepted with their authorities’ consent or in special cirumstances but they have to withdraw their former affiliations.

8. No Padawan may order another Padawan to do something, nor may they contradict the order of another Padawan's Master on any matter.

9. No Jedi should treat another being as a lower form of life.

10. Any Force-users seeking entrance into the order should request a meeting with the Council (one minimum) for an initial evaluation. Study may be done afterhand at the Praxeum. Darksiders turning light will need to be evaluated before training begins to assess readiness and to discuss what repercussions that may need satisfying. If you wish to skip the Academy, you must be assessed by the Council (two minimum).

11. Padawans ages 12 and over may be taken on by Knights and Masters without question from the Council.
(Unless there are extenuating circumstances i.e. something odd or weird about the two people's relationship, one or both of the people.)

12. Padawans under the age of 12, Jedi children, will be taught in the Praxeum.

13. Masters/Knights wishing to take on one of the students that are not yet 12, the student must come before the Council (two minimum) as well as the would be Master for an interview to determine if the Master/Student relationship would be best at that time.

14. A Senior Knight may take on the responsibility of one Padawan. Masters may take up to 3. Knights/Masters are advised to request permission to take on a Padawan to the Council (one minimum).

Demotion or expulsion from the order:
1. A Jedi kills, maims or otherwise harms an innocent on purpose or out of cold blood.

2. Excessive amounts of senseless fighting. (Say they are seen creating fights repeatedly. This does not refer to sparring but rather excessive and repeated altercations of serious natures).

3. Consistently and constantly acting contrary to the Jedi Code over a period of time.

4. Aiding Darksiders in their endeavors, whatsoever and are sharing friendly associations with them constantly (Beyond trying to help them to the light, of course).

5. Delve into the darkside, ie. using force chokes other than in dire circumstances and other overly painful methods of force usage. Also including the unauthorized study of dark texts.

6. Purposely putting other students and Jedi and/or people in jeapordy and danger.

7. Perversion of any kind taken to the extreme.

8. Vandalism and sabotage are also grounds for expulsion.

9. Misuse of authority.

Other OOC Rules:

1. Padawan trials must be RP’d as any mission and/or task given by his Master. (On the background, the Council will vote if the Padawan is ready to be a Senior Knight or not, before this mission/task (TRIAL) will be given. So Masters/Padawans must contact the Council first before giving/requesting/performing a Trial)

2. The Council is the decision-maker on who will become a Master. It will be based on the Senior Knights’ performance, RP skill, etc. It will be decided by a Council vote.

3. There will be a Jedi Council vote every six months from now on and every Jedi is to participate. There will always be six Councilors and during the elections, one Jedi is to vote for 6 Councilors. The old Councilors may automatically put themselves among the candidates if they want to run for the position again, while there must always be FOUR to FIVE candidates from outside the old Council. These 4 to 5 candidates will be decided upon by a vote by the outgoing Council.

4. Other than the rules stated above, the Neo Jedi Praxeum has its own autonomous set of rules for the Jedi Learners and the Academy staff as a whole.
