Following the closure of the GayUK Chat Room, we have reintroduced the Messenger Club so that you can continue chatting to your chat room friends via MSN Messenger.
Please note that the purpose of the Messenger Chat Club is for everyone to partake in social chit chat NOT 'pick up' chat.
You can access a signup list at the bottom of this page on which you can enter your details.
It's quite simple: you add your details to the signup list, everyone adds you to their Messenger contacts whilst you add everyone else to your Messenger contacts. You may want to add a new contacts group called (say) GayUK Chat for this purpose. | | I M P O R T A N T N O T I C E : | | | 1. | THIS IS NOT THE DATING SECTION! If you want to leave a personal ad for new friends or a lover, do it in the GayUK Personals section - NOT HERE!
| | 2. | GayUK Messenger Chat operates outside of our direct control and we can not accept responsibility for messages and chat received through MSN Messenger.
| | 3. | You will be able to ignore members that you do not want to chat to again but if you get repeated problems from a member you should report them to MSN directly (be sure to include a cut and paste of the offending chat). | | | T H I N G S T O R E M E M B E R : | | | 1. | You need to have MSN Messenger installed on your computer for the list to be any use to you. You can download it from messenger.msn.co.uk where you will also find all the details. A version for the Mac is also available!
| | 2. | If you're putting up your details, don't forget to include the email address you use for Messenger. This is what other people use to add you to their Contacts list. The whole point of GayUK Messenger Chat is to allow members to contact and chat with other members, so not having valid contact details kinda defeats the point!!
| | 3. | We reserve the right to delete or amend any entry as we see fit.
| | | I N T E R N E T S E C U R I T Y : | | We take Internet security very seriously here on GayUK and so we feel bound to advise you of the dangers associated with revealing your email address on the contact lists. Hackers trawl MSN Groups in search of email addresses and then attempt to cause lots of grief by hacking into your email account by various means.

Then click Add Listing and you will be presented with a form to complete as follows -- | Nickname: | This is automatically completed for you. | | Name: | Enter the name by which you wish to be known. | | Email Address: | This is the email address you use for Messenger. We recommend using a "disposable" email address (see Internet Security above). | | Updated: | The date you created/last updated the entry is automatically entered for you. | You can update your listing by clicking Edit Listing at any time.
