Sometimes I do an estimation of what chemical exposures there may be in someone's life,
as I did for Jeff who recently retired & Moved from Valdez *

Many are exposed in multiple ways to 2-butoxyethanol or a stronger version of it
HOWEVER,
Unless you get TOO much exposure, it may not affect you noticeable,
IF
you do get too much exposure ... all of these things identifited by Vietnam Vets could affect you to varying degrees:
must tell you that I was stunned when I took a closer look at what happened to the Vietnam vet.
The whole entire list they put forth of health issues ... was what 2-butoxoyethanol exposure would do .... not Agent Orange ... except for just a couple items
Do those in your group have the same?
Soft tissue sarcoma *
Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
Hodgkin's disease
Chloracne is a specific acne-like skin disorder
(this IS from Dioxin)

No evidence? of Skin cancers,

Bladder cancer,
Brain tumors

So what might be exposure/s for Lou Gehrig?
He was born at 14 lbs and 3 siblings died in infancy
This is an indication to me that something like Diabetes? was affecting either or both parents for these issues to be present. (a side effect of EGBE exposure)
-
So, prior to conception, I believe that this chemical had poisoned a parent ...
-
I would like to know what sickness his mother had prior to his joining the baseball team.
-
I would like to know what was going on in his life when he had the flu that would not quit.
2-butoxyethanol exposure LOOKS like the FLU
I still very much want to know what caused the
'flu that would not quit' for Lou Gehrig ....
as that should be the exposure to 2-butoxyethanol that 'tipped the scale' & caused the ALS
2-butoxyethanol *
C6H14O2/CH3(CH2)2CH2OCH2CH2OH
CAS No: 111-76-2
is a neurotoxin, pesticide, poison, solvent & a teratogen
