Bombhead
Played by Lee Otway October 2001- December 2005
Bursting on to our screens causing an impression when he is semi naked in the schoolyard after selling his trousers! Outgoing and insane he definitely is, but still is loved by the audience. Throughout the show, Bombhaed had many ambitions including becoming a priest, a chef and even a magician, but his destiny was to be in a circus. Bombhead started of hanging around with Lee and Norman, as the trio would do anything for money. Bombhead than fell for Helen Cunningham, having a crush on her and began to work at Steam Team for free! Yet, Mr C had

made it clear that she had no intention of any sort of relationship. Whist the Murder Investigation was happening, Bombhead than got in trouble when Steph persuaded him to get her necklace, which was near the body, and in return she will give him a kiss. Despite Lee’s persuasion to Bombead not to do it, Bombhead insisted and got arrested by Dale Jackson. Covering for his friends, Bombhead landed himself in massive trouble, but thanks to the support of Mr C, Bombhead told the truth and was free. However, it did not stop accusations being made as Bombhead a suspect for the murders in Chester. But thanks to the support of Mr C and Lee, Bombhead decided not to let the rumours get to him. Bombhead repaid Mr C, when he supported him after Mr C split up from Helen. But tragedy struck for both Mr and Mrs C when both died in a car crash which left Bombhaed devastated. He moved on forward as he began working for Tony at Il Gnosh and enrolled at HCC. However, Bombhead life was to take another setback when his mother had died. His mother was the only family he had and this made him feel scared of facing his future alone. He refused to tell anyone and his behaviour became odd and was noticed by his friends Lee and Zara. Bombahed continued for days in having his mother’s body inside his house and often he received the ghost of Mr C pleading to him to ask for help. His mother’s body was eventually found was found by Lee which shocked the viewers and Bombhead found it hard to cope with his mother’s loss. Good support from Lee and the Hunter family, allowed Bombhead to be part of the family. Slowly Bombhaed recovered from this setback and a one off love interest in Cherry who he met in Liverpool, but t wasn’t meant to be. Despite the Hunters attempts of making Bombhead part of the family, Bombhead still felt left out and began to search for his father. All his efforts failed and Bombhaed’s friendship with Lee was to face a test. When Lee became resident of HCC he often got advised from the Entertainment’s committee leader Chris, which made Bombhaed feel left out and Chris stirred trouble between Lee and Bombhaed. Lee began to blame Bombhaed for things that had gone wrong for him, which left Bombhead feeling down until he met his real father. Although having phobias of clowns, Bombhaed learnt his dad was in the circus , as a clown, and both Bombhaed and his father formed a bond with one another as his dad offered him a job to join him at a circus, away from Chester. Bombhead did not having nothing to stay in Chester for and decided to leave to join the circus after Lee had turn his back on him. On the day he was about to leave with his father, Lee realised his mistakes and apologised to Bombhaed. Even though Bombhaed said he will stay, Lee persuaded him to join his father and in typical Bombhaed fashion, his last scene in show was a act he performed at a circus- possibly the best place for him! With over four years of making viewers laugh with is lovability and making audiences cry when he dealt with the loss of his mother, Bombhaed’s character is one of the memorable ever seen in the show.
