Consider these plants armed and dangerous with hundreds of seeds to be dispersed. According to legend this biennal herb native to Europe was brought to the new world by colonists. | honeysuckle, Lonicera eurasian shrub and vine species | Honeysuckle creates a heavy shade and it`s roots compete with the native plants. After our wildlife has eaten all the native berries they flock to the eurasian honeysuckles. The eurasian honeysuckles have an abundance of berries and our birds are unwitting helping to spread these honeysuckles even further.
