ThinkTank Ideas

We have come up with a lot of ideas.  I thought it would be easier to see them in a list.  I have sorted through all our messages and gathered all the ideas so far.  I will continue to add to this list as new ideas come up.

Don`t worry  about cost or how silly  the idea might be, many great inventions started out that way.

Here`s one not listed on the message page it just came to me .  The Irvington Garden Club should buy a lottery ticket every week so we have the funds to do all these neat ,  wild and crazy ideas.

publish a walking or driving tour map of  amazing trees in Irvington

place the Memorial Garden somewhere on Washington Street, like in the court yard beside Legends

lets push to get all over head wires buried like in the new neighborhoods, so our trees won`t have to be trimmed

have Washington Street changed into a boulevard with trees planted down the center

push Marsh to clean up Irvington Plaza the way Krogers cleaned up Linwood Square

let`s buy the Potter House property and turn it into a conservatory and garden

the conservatory and gardens could have a gift shop and sell area artist`s works

buy a house that is empty  and turn it into our garden club house

or buy an old house and turn it into a bed and breakfast

replace the tiles in the sidewalks along Pleasant Run Parkway

do something with the log cabin located at 310 N. Arlington

plant ivy at the base of the plasma place in the small bed at the side of the building to grow up over the side of the bluilding to help hide and soften the stark block a bit

paint a mural of the Kile Oak or things from Irvington on the Edmondson Station water tower
