Islamic Manners
1) Sit while eating or drinking. Eat and do all good things with the right hand. Use the left hand to clean yourselves after using the bathroom.
2) Do not enter anyone's home without their permission, whether they are family or friends.
3) Three timings in the day are private times for a person, before dawn, noon, and night. So always have permission to enter the room.
4) When drinking, do not take gulps, take sips. Also, do not drink the whole glass all at once.
5) Women should not wear makeup, perfumes, or anything that could set attractions, when they go out of the house.
6) Women should not wear ornaments that make sound while walking.
7) Men and women must not be alone anytime except in urgent need, and that too has to be behing a veil, or purdah. The computer is fine, because it is like a purdah, but the conversation(anytime) should be decent.
8) Always be good to the neighbors.
9) Never backbit, hurt, or offend anyone intentionally.
10) Always obey and respect elders.
