For the "terminally serious", it can be your path to putting some fun into every day, and a wonderful survival technique. Not every thing in life is humorous, but we miss a lot that is. Don't take it all so seriously all of the time, try to find the humor in every situation. Grant yourself permission to be silly occasionally; it's therapeutic.
