What We're All About?--Fantasy...Pure Fantasy!
Welcome! We are a group of women from varied backgrounds and ages with one common thread, we have an affection for Orlando Bloom and his characters, Legolas, and Will Turner.
This site was created as an escape from reality. The fantasy begins when you go through the Fantasy Doorway. If a Legolas look-a-like companion is what you're after...then enter Legolas' Keep. If a pirate is more to your liking, then enter The Capt.'s Cabin. You will have to join the main site before you can join the companion sites. Please read the Rules before you complete "OUR" application. If you are approved, we will then ask you to fill out MSN's application.
For the Keep, most everyone chooses an elvish name for herself. If you would like an elvish name for yourself, please go to Barrowdowns. You will find it fun to type in your name or descriptions and see what comes up for Elvish, Hobbit, Orcish, or Dwarvish.
Our main site, Legolas' Keep and the Captain's Cabin, is dedicated to Orlando Bloom. Here you may post pictures of OB, hold discussions, post fanfiction, talk about his various movies, rumors, as well as anything off-topic.
The companion site, Legolas' Keep is primarily a role playing game played in current time. We ask that you stay in character when making your posts to the message boards. We suggest you take your time and read the message boards to get a feel for the site before you make any posts yourself. Also, please keep personal opinions about what is going on in the real world off the boards. We are here to escape that world, we don't want to bring it in to the site if at all possible.
The companion site, The Captain's Cabin, is a continuing story. It is not actually a roleplay, but more an internet soap opera. We ask that you not ask to join the Captain's Cabin unless you have a love of writing, and are willing to make a commitment to be a contributing "author." We have established a page for FanFiction in our "documents" section. We encourage all women who have a flair for writing and poetry to please post their short stories and poems there. The stories must be based on Legolas, Will Turner, you or your companion, Middle Earth, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean, or any characters related to said films or books. Although we are a site for adult women, the site is not adult rated, and all stories must be kept tasteful. Absolutely no graphic details, slash/slash references or porn will be accepted.
