Tony Lundon
Tony first realised his love of music as lead violinist and soloist in a local orchestra in Galway and also as a champion irish dancer. A promising student he had a place the University College of Galway to study Law but deferred it for a year when he got the opportunity to tour as the lead in Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance. He travelled the world and experienced many amazing occasions not least dancing at the Oscars! It was when he was travelling on the road that he began writing music with the tour band, Tony realised then that his main ambition was to be a successful songwriter. He was sure that this was what he wanted to do with his life. So it was that, two years into a successful dancing career, he decided to leave the company and up sticks to london to pursue a career in music. His friends, understandably, thought he was mad but he wasn't afraid to start again to follow his main love. He has spent the last two years in London songwriting but always wanted to find people to write with. He has found just that with Liberty X.
Tony's dream is to 'write music that stands the test of time.'
