Look for opportunites to take photographs all year long

consider the following when taking photos and you will have ample photos to consider for
entering into the fair

 

single photographs - color and black and white

grouped photos

3 or more photos with captions that tell a story

scrapbook page where photos are laid out with captions, journaling and title

4H event (layout should include captions, a brief description of the event including date, and a title

mount grouped photos on poster board no larger than  24"x18"

mat and plastic wrap your single and grouped photos

 

not entering the small animal shows?  attend with your camera, great opportunities for beautiful photos are found there

visiting a scenic site?  at an event that tells a story?

take your camera along, develop your photos as you take them all year long,
and enjoy the creative process
