1 - A DAY
The word “a day” (yewm) is used 365 times in the Quran. 365 does not only mean the number of days in a yearly calendar but it is also a number which shows the astronomic relationship between our world and the sun. When our world completes its circle around the sun, it turns 365 times around itself. This means, when the world completes its cycle around the sun, we live 365 days on earth. It is important that the word “A day” is used 365 times in the Quran because the cycle around the sun sums up to 365 single days. Do you think that the usage of this word being 365 and not being 200, 300 or 400 or 500... Is by chance? The word “a day’s usage being 365 is a good example for easy to understand, impossible to imitate the Quran miracles. Even this word alone is enough to show that there is a conscious order in the Quran. The dimension of the miracles will be clearer when 50 examples in this section and the section on 19 will be carefully examined.

2 - DAYS
The different usage of the word “day” in the Quran is miraculous. While the singular “day” is used 365 times, the plural “days” (eyyam, yewmeyn) is used 30 times. By this way, days in a month, which is 30, is indicated. A year constitutes from plural months, so it is interesting when plural form of “day” is used for indicating months.
On the other hand, 365 days forms a year. So it is meaningful that while the singular “day” (yewm) passes 365 times, the plural “days” (eyyam, yevmeyn) passes 30 times.
In the solar calendar, the months have either 30 or 31 days and in the lunar calendar the months have either 29 or 30 days. So the number 30 is the intersection point for both of the calendars. In the society in which the Quran was introduced, the lunar calendar was in use, so to mention “30” is again meaningful. The moon constitutes a month in 29.53 days. The closest round up number to this number is 30. In this kind of mathematical miracles, we witness that the Quran calculates correctly this rounding up business. Likewise, the world completes its cycle around the sun in exactly 365.25 days. The round up number for this is 365.
