Low Moor H.T's Junior team
For 2007
09/08/07 - JUNIOR NEWS - As we were division runners up we played a division winner,Thackley, away yesterday.
Thackley are a very good team who i would imagine expect to go a long way in these play-offs.
Bearing this in mind i was very pleased with our lads performance, with batting, bowling and especially the fielding, with numerous great catches, stops and direct hit throw ins. The final result was a lot closer than many, especially thackley, might have expected.

Low Moor fielded 1 under 12, 1 under 11, 4 under 10's and 2 under 9's. The future looks bright.
I will try and arrange one or two friendly games and will keep you informed of dates.

LOW MOOR UNDER 12’s FIXTURES AND RESULTS
Rules
Each batting pair to bat 4 overs under normal batting conditions i.e. strike is not rotated evenly.
Nobody is ‘out’ but every time a wicket falls, 8 runs are deducted from the total.
Each player bowls minimum of 2 overs, excluding wicket keeper.
Sixes count as fours.
Each innings is 16 overs.
Score starts at 200 to avoid going into ‘minus figures’
Low Moor Squad currently consists of 12 juniors (2 under 12’s, 7 under 10’s and 3 under 9’s)
