Ladies Circle is open to ladies aged between 18-45.
Market Harborough Ladies' Circle currently has approximately 20 members from all walks of life, married, single, working full-time, part-time, at home with children ... We usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month.
One meeting is usually a "Business" meeting where we meet for a meal in a restaurant and then discuss social events, fund-raising activities and items relating to National and Area Ladies' Circle activities. This sounds serious but it isn't. Its usually an excuse to get away from routine life, meet up with friends and have a meal out.
The other meeting is a social occasion where we usually go out and about. As you can see from our programme pages we undertake a wide variety of activities, following suggestions from our members. There is no compulsion and members are free to join in with as many, or as few events as they wish.
However the emphasis is always on having fun.
Round Table
Ladies Circle originally started as an organisation for the wives of Round Table members. However we are now an independant organisation and open to all ladies under 45. Not all of the members in Market Harborough do have partners in Round Table.
We do still have close contacts with Market Harborough Round Table and frequently hold joint, and family, socials.
Tangent
We also have close links with Market Harborough Tangent Club which is the associated group for ladies over 45. Tangent usually meet on the first Thursday each month. Recently we have been Salsa dancing with Tangent, played bowls and challenged them to a game of Pictionary.
