- PLASMA GENERATION Ability to generate & manipulate plasma energy; Able to focus plasma energy into powerful beams, usually from hands or eyes; Also able to create plasma fields which can have up to two of the following effects: Light, Heat, Flame, Hard Radiation, Magnetism, Electricity; These effects are less intense/less powerful than the actual plasma energy that is generated [VIRIDIAN]
| | REPLICATION | Ability to create an exact replica of one's self; Number of replicants is usually minimal, as hive-consciousness is stretched as the number of replicants grows; Average replicants: 8-12 [MIRROR] | | RESIZE | Ability to shrink or grow at will; Often limited to one direction (e.g. You can shrink, but can’t enlarge past original size) | SENSORY ALTERATION/ ENHANCEMENT | - ABNORMAL SENSITIVITY Affects only ONE of the five senses; Enhancement enables User to either see/smell/touch/taste/hear things humans normally can't, but costs the User ‘normal’ use of that sense (e.g. Infrared Vision but no normal vision; Hyper-hearing but no normal hearing; etc.)
- ENHANCED PHYSICALITY Metahuman level of agility & reflexes (e.g. dodge some projectile weapons; inherently agile, as if Olympically trained; etc) [ETHERIAN; PAYNE]
- ENHANCED SENSES One or more of the five senses are increased (e.g. able to see great distances or see in the dark; able to track scents like animals; etc.)
- ENHANCED DETECTION
- ENERGY Ability to detect energy either of a specific kind or all varieties [CRIMSON FIST'S Gauntlet]
- EXTRA DIMENTIONAL Ability to sense when beings or objects are from another dimension
- LIFE FORCE Can identify the presence of life forms and their nature (e.g. human, mutant, squirrel) [CRIMSON FIST'S Gauntlet]
- MAGICK Ability to detect the use of, enchantment by, or static presence of Magick; Advanced Users can distinguish different Magick users from one another
- POWER Ability to detect specific powers
- PSIONIC Ability to detect individuals with psionic abilities, or the usage of psionic abilities [CRIMSON FIST'S Gauntlet]
- WEAKNESS Ability to sense your opponent’s vulnerabilities & weaknesses (e.g. susceptible to Mind Control; vulnerability to Water; blind-spots in Hand-to-Hand combat; etc.)
- HYPER-AWARENESS Likened unto having a ‘sixth sense’; Appears to be a combination of powers (Enhanced Senses, Enhanced Detection, Radar/Sonar, etc.); Acutely conscious of immediate surroundings, usually within a specific radius, ranging from 5 to 50 feet; Specifically, User could tell how many people are in the immediate vicinity, with their vital statistics, the temperature, the exact dimensions of indoor locations, etc.
- RADAR SENSE Ability to produce energy waves within a specific radius (ranging from 50-150ft) & interpret returning waves that encounter any solid mass (i.e. can detect a car without having to actually see the car); Can be deflected/inhibited by some materials
- SENSE ALTERATION Ability to amplify or negate senses in Self and/or others
- SONAR SENSE Ability to produce sound waves within a specific radius (ranging from 25-100ft) & interpret returning waves that encounter any solid mass; Can be deflected/inhibited by some materials or soundproofing devices
- TRACKING Ability to track another living being as if they were tethered together; Proximity increases Tracking ability exponentially; Likewise, greater distances can inhibit or effectively counter ability; Can only track one being at a time [CRIMSON FIST'S Gauntlet]
| | SHADOW-BASED | - SHADOWCAST Ability to create & manipulate ‘shadows’ even in conditions that render this impossible (i.e. darken a large area in direct sunlight); Strength of shadow field ranges from Dark (midnight) to Pitch Black (zero visibility; light unable to pierce field)
- SHADOWFORM Ability to become a sentient shadow-based being; Can traverse through shadows in this form (similar to Spacefolding Teleporters); Unnatural or Mystical Light can cause the User to revert to original form from shadowform
- SHADOWJUMP Ability to travel from shadow to shadow, similar to Spacefolding Teleportation; This doesn’t grant the User the ability to control, generate or become part of the shadows
- SHADOWSHAPE An advanced type of Shadowcasting; Ability to form & control 2-dimensional solid shadow constructs; can see through these construct’s 'eyes'; Number & duration of the shadow beings are based on the User’s skill or level of Light-based attacks
| | SOUND-BASED | - HYPNOTIC VOICE Ability to put a person or persons into a trance through voice
- SONIC BEAM Ability to create & project compressed soundwaves into an energy beam of varying destructive capability
- SOUND CONTROL Able to manipulate existing soundsl; Can mute noises totally or increase them to the point of doing physical damage
- VIBRATION CONTROL Able to increase or decrease vibrations, causing earthquakes; Can also distort voices; In very rare cases where the subject has great control and training the ability to adjust the vibrations of his own atoms, enabling him/her to phase
- VIBRATION GENERATION Similar to Vibration Control, only with the added ability of generating vibrations
- VOCAL MIMICRY Able to duplicate any sound though voice
| | SUPERSPEED | Perform tasks at an increased speed. At lower levels movement can be less than double normal speed, at higher levels a person can break the sound barrier, or even travel faster than light | | SUPERSTEALTH | Ability to remain undetected by most normal means (e.g. silent footfalls across dry leaves, undetectable by most electronic tracking devices, can ‘disappear’ in plain sight, ) | | SUPERSTRENGTH | Self-explanatory; Strength levels can range from ‘having the strength of ten men’ to rivaling mythological deities [ECLIPSE, Hero] | | TRANSMUTATION | - ANIMORPH Ability to take on the form & function of animals, while retaining human-level intelligence; Ranges from Single Animal, Specific Animal Class (e.g. all felines), or All Animals; Limitations based on size can occur [WAREKATT]
- METAMORPH Ability to take on nearly any form imaginable; Retains original consciousness; Size limitations often do not apply
- POLYMORPH Ability to take on shape of objects, but not necessarily their function (e.g. can look like a lamp, but can’t conduct electricity nor light up); Limitations based on size can occur
- MIMIC Similar to Shapeshifters; Can not only take on form & function of other other humans, the Mimic can also duplicate Metahumans and their metahuman abilities for limited periods
- ALCHEMIC TRANSMUTATION Advanced transmutation; Ability to alter the elemental composition of organic & inorganic items; Examples: Lead into Gold, Oxygen into Nitrogen; Transmutating the composition of living organic beings will inevitably lead to Death (e.g. changing the Iron in a person’s blood into Mercury, etc); This transmutation usually requires tactile contact [LONGEARS]
- MINOR TRANSMUTATION Ability to enact mutation of objects within natural parameters; For example, User can transmute water into vapor, but can’t turn the water into mercury; Or, User can turn wood into rock (petrified wood), but can’t turn the wood into gold; This transmutation requires tactile contact
- MOLECULAR TRANSMUTATION Ability to alter the form, function, chemical & elemental composition of all things at a subatomic level ((This should be considered a RARE POWER, on par with a TYPE V QUANTAKINETIC; Please consult the GameMaster before choosing this power))
- OMNIMORPHIC METABILITIES Metahuman abilities change within a specific time period; Little to no control over type of metahuman ability the User gains [MAXIMORPH]
- OMNIMORPHIC RECALL Ability to recall (i.e. use) any previously held metahuman ability granted by Omnimorphic Metabilities trait, for a limited duration; Possible to recall several previous metabilities at once [MAXIMORPH]
- SHAPESHIFTER Limited Metamorph; Can only change into other humanoid forms
| | VISION-BASED | - CIRCULAR VISION 360-degree vision; Usually accompanied by deformed or grotesque-looking eyes
- FROST VISION Ability to generate varying levels of cold, ranging from the chill of an air conditioner to sub-zero temperatures; Can freeze living beings in manner similar to liquid nitrogen; Can alter dispersal pattern from wide to narrow
- HEAT Vision Ability to generate varying levels of heat, ranging from the warmth of a heat lamp to the intensity of a high-powered laser beam; Can alter dispersal pattern from wide to narrow
- MACRO/Microscopic Vision Ability to see at varying levels of magnification (e.g. able to see great distances with high level of detail, or able to see atomic or subatomic particles)
- TRUE SIGHT Ability to see through disguises, illusions and other visual phenomenon
- X-RAY VISION Ability to see through objects
