The Link: Project Gutenberg Description: Now that you are no longer in school... ...how's about catching up on all that reading you didn't have the time for nor the interest in way back when. Project Gutenberg is a site that holds an ever-increasing number of books and other written materials that are out of copyright. These titles are transcribed by volunteers and donated to this site to make them available to the public free of charge. This includes the "classics" of fiction as well as poetry, political papers, and scientific treatises. Once you download a book, you can read it on your computer in your favorite word processor. Give it a visit and grab a book--you don't even need a library card! Posted By: Larry4511 Post Date: 6/15/2005

The Link: Overton First! Description: This site is new to me as of today, but it is dedicated to the first three graduating classesof Overton, '62, '63, and '64. The site is accumulating a lot of interesting information, and includes an RIP section listing those known to have passed away. Another nice feature is a request for information about Missing Overton Classmates, so you may add anything you know about them. At the moment, they are trying to organize a combined reunion next year (2007) for all three classes. Posted By: Larry4511 Post Date: 1/26/2006
