| This is a group suitable for all ages. Its just over a year old and its a welcome return to members of all ages interacting so well together. Moira has made a special section for welcoming new members. This is ideal for new members to feel that they become instantly part of this warm and friendly group. Members don't post everyday, which really doesn't matter. The atmosphere is one of relaxed comings and goings. Theres no way anyone would get bored in this group. Theres a multitude of interesting sections ranging from Games to Health. Each area has been worked on in great detail. If your pregnant and stuck for names, look no further, there are separate sections for both boy names and girl names. What a unique idea! The managers and members enjoy their quiz nights in the chat room which takes place most Tuesday evenings. Its great to see a section dedicated to congratulating members from each quiz night. Best of all the winners even get an award! The members all live in different timezones, if they wish to join in the Thursday morning chats, or the Tuesday evening quizzes, theres a time convertor so they can work out exactly what time they need to be online to join their friends. Its not all fun, fun, fun. I found a page on Diabetes, which must be a subject that maybe a few people in the group can relate to considering the recources available in the Diabetes section. I love the section 'Especially For Kids'. As this group is suitable for children, they can click on any colourful button ( as kids love to do), and they never know which children's site they will be taken to. Children, being very curious little people, will find this heaps of fun. I actually felt like a big kid as i went on my surprise journney to unknown places. This is a terrific idea for the kids! There are many pages of fun things to do. Moira adds another link every time she discovers a games site. Amongst all the games sections and fun pages, theres a more serious, heartwarming side to this group, with a special section dedicated to all those famous people who are no longer with us. This section is quite large and shows true respect and dedication. Your introduced to each person in the 'Meet The Members' section which is lower down on the list due to the alphabetical nature of the navigation list, although i feel this would be far better being further up the list.You can view a single picture of each member in here which is a nice touch. Other Sections range from Music to PC Maintenance, from Recipes to Videos. This site is a member of so many webrings. I have not seen a group belong to so many webrings at one time before. Overall Opinion The managers of this group show true dedication. They have worked very hard on every area. They have taken into consideration the interests of their members spanning every age and every location around the world. The group is easy to navigate with an A-Z Index down the left hand side. The graphics are good although i would like to make the suggestion of making the banners smaller in various sections of the group to give a clearer image. The managers have accomplished the mammoth task of finding a happy medium in this group balancing the fun side with a more serious side. Images ©MMJ |
