Next series of chains I tie before and after joining to a picot. This is up to you, this help keep the chains from pulling to closed.
CH 4ds p 6ds join to side picot of last ring made.
CH 10ds p 4ds join to side picots of 4th and 5th rings up.
CH 4ds + 10 ds join to center p of next ring down.
CH 10ds p 4ds join to center p's of ring r 2 & 3 up.
CH 4ds + 10ds join to center p of next ring
CH 14 ds join in p of first ring up that is attached with ring 5 of body.
 
Going back over chains just made,
CH 3ds + (to ring 6 going back from from head) 15ds join to center of last ch.
CH 16ds  join to center
CH 10ds join
CH 13ds join
CH 13ds join
SPLIT CH  8ds / 3ds join to p of the first round. of chains
Note if your not sure how to do Split Ch. you can do 8ds P 3ds join it to the first chain. cut and tie and start a new round. Starting at the picot of that chain made.
 
Going back over second row of Chains
CH 2ds 6p's sep. by 2ds each and 2ds join in center of last row.
CH 2ds 7p's sep. by 2ds each and 2ds join in center
CH 2ds 8p's sep. by 2ds each and 2ds join
CH 2ds 7p's sep. by 2ds each and 2ds join
CH 2ds 8p's sep. by 2ds each and 2ds join
CH 2ds 5p's sep. by 2ds  2ds (this gets a ring attached to it)
This next ring will be Lower back of bird
R 4ds + (join to 6th ring back form head of first rings made) 2ds + (to p of 7th ring of body. 2ds DNR make second ring.
R 4ds + (to picot on 8th ring of body) 4ds CL RW
CH 3ds RW
R 2ds + (to ring 9 of body) 2ds CL RW
CH 3ds  RW
SR 2ds + (last picot of 1st ring made) 2 ds / 3ds p 2ds p 2ds p 2ds p 2ds CL RW
Ch 3ds Join to base of first ring made.
Cut and tie an at this point and join thread to 1st picot of split ring
 
CH 10 ds join to next picot
CH 12 ds join in next picot
CH 10 ds join in next picot
Coming back around
CH 15 P 4ds Join in center
CH 4 + 9ds P 4ds Join in center
CH 4ds + 15ds Join in last center
Working back around
CH  2ds 8p's sep. by 2ds each + to side picot of last chain,
CH 2ds 5 p's sep. by 2ds each + to side p
CH 2ds 8 p's sep. by 2ds each join to last p on round tie cut and hide ends.
 
BEAK:
Join to the closing of 1st ring of head. Do 35 +/- 1/2 ds.
EYE
Make small ring to fit in the ring on head and attach.
