Having a baby is a wonderful thing in a family

"Two Babies" a Christmas story with a different ending

What could be going on when so many moms have 'the blues?'

HEADACHE?   FATIGUE?  Depression?

Memory Loss?   Sleeplessness?

Per chance could it be undiagnosed HELLP Syndrome?

What is used for anesthesia?  Anything with ethanol & butyl chemicals?

You could ask for a copy of your blood work before & after delivery
Should keep a copy or your own blood work anyway - for women

HELLP syndrome info

... there is a comment about increasing headaches being a part of it

Often one who develops HELLP syndrome has already been followed up for pregnancy-induced hypertension ( gestational hypertension), or is suspected to develop pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure and proteinuria). Up to 8% of all cases present after delivery.

There is gradual but marked onset of headaches (30%), blurred vision, malaise (90%), nausea/vomiting (30%), "band pain" around the upper abdomen (65%) and tingling in the extremities

HELLP syndrome is a life-threatening complication of pre-eclampsia. Both conditions occur during the latter stages of pregnancy, or sometimes after childbirth.

HELLP is an abbreviation of the main findings:
