New Zealand Morris Dancing
Membership of this community is restricted to NZ morris dancers, but the general public can get information on morris dancing in New Zealand from here.
Details of the 2009 tour are available on the
Tour page.
I have added photos of various morris events under my Flickr sets:
or search on nzmorrisdancing
If anyone else adds photos to Flickr use tag nzmorrisdancing as well as any other obvious ones like morris dancing so we can all find 'em.
There are sides (teams) around the country. Every year we meet up on a different part of the country for our national

There are also stray Morris Dancers in various other parts of the country who join in whenever possible. A number of dancers are also clog dancers and you'll see some composite sets made up occasionally. Some are exiled in the UK and occasionally get together over there.
There are some regular
Events where sides meet up from around the country (and world). And if you leave anything behind or find anything at one of these, post the details under
Lost Property!
