I think someday we will have a paradigm shift in how the medical community looks at diabetes

and what we consider for helps

I think we are dealing with autoimmune metabolic issues.

I suspect this chemical for the real cause of President FDR's death ... for President Eisenhower's Crohn's and explosive diarrhea (I have that, too)... for harm to many other prominent people ... especially those from WWII nations

Strong exposure looks like the flu

and has these CFIDS symptoms if you get too much

Diabetes and high blood pressure are the most common causes of chronic kidney disease. Your risk of developing chronic kidney disease may be even higher if you have a combination of diabetes, high blood pressure, and excess body fat (metabolic syndrome).
Metabolic syndrome:</-.TITLE>

Metabolic syndrome is a group of abnormal test findings related to the body's metabolism. These findings include excess body fat (particularly abdominal obesity); elevated triglycerides, blood pressure, and fasting glucose; and low HDL cholesterol (the "good" cholesterol) . . .

http://www.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_atoz/zp3390.asp?navbar=aa65430

High blood levels of insulin lower the good HDL cholesterol and raise triglycerides, but do not affect the bad LDL cholesterol levels. ...
C-reactive protein adds to the predictive value of total and HDL cholesterol in determining risk of first myocardial infarction. ...
Did you know there was an autoimmune aspect to diabetes?  even type 2?  Immune system attacking insulin receptors (lef.org info)

Did you know there is an autoimmune aspect to type 2 diabetes also?

Insulin-resistant diabetes *

In diabetes mellitus, autoantibodies are formed against insulin receptors. Insulin receptor  * source

I still contend  *

Overweight?   Maybe more than Diet and Exercise?

Maybe this is part of the autoimmune metabolic issues those exposed to 2-BE often have to deal with

What does 2-butoxyethanol do? *

  • Causes eye irritation

  • Affects central nervous system

  • blood and blood-forming organs

  • kidneys

  • liver and

  • lymphoid System

  • defats the skin

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance irritates the eyes, the skin, and the respiratory tract
Exposure could cause central nervous system depression and liver and kidney damage.
EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
The liquid defats the skin.
The substance may have effects on the haematopoietic system , resulting in blood disorders.

I suspect it is the cause of CFS, FM, CFIDS.
I suspect it causes many, many autoimmune issues.
Maybe autoimmune hypothalamus before autoimmune red blood cells, and autoimmune action on insulin receptors....
