Message from the President
Angie Bartolome
I would like to extend my warmest greeting and welcome...
As the incoming president of (the) Philippine American Association of Connecticut, I look forward to the challenges and the adventures of what the future may bring. I hope to continue the daunting task of bringing awareness of the Filipino traditions to our community, teaching our heritage and culture to our children and reaching out and helping others in our community wether here in our adopted country of the United States or our homeland, the Philippines.
Growing up PAAC, I have seen it go through many changes. I remember how we used to have picnics and activities at different venues. Now thanks to the generosity of Dr. and Mrs Enrico Khu, we have ethe clubhouse in West Haven. The members have also grown up. I have seen the little kids I used to lead in games become mature "Ates" and "Kuyas" now themselves teaching other children.
I am extremely lucky and thankful to be surrounded by such dedicated, talented and most helpful group of officers and members. Their continued support will make any endeavor wemay take on be a successful one.
I thank everyone for their continued support...
