Bar Six, baked beans flavoured crisps ( Steve Thorn )

Texan, Counters, Spangles ( made comeback ), Bovril crisps, golden wonder pickled onion crisps, nutty bars

Things:

Whatever happened to that speedboat that gave rides in Margate harbour years ago? I think it was called 'Sea Fury' or similar.

The greenshield stamp shop in Margate ?

Does anyone remember the motorbike drag racing on the undercliff at Ramsgate?

Do kids today know what marbles are?

Goods:

Cerebos salt

 

Electrical:

Remington fuzz away, Anything by Ronco

The English language .... e.g. :-
I don't know what I should of done, I should of eaten my dinner etc etc, for Gods sake it's HAVE not OF ( steve thorn )

General:

Dreamland, Lido, Clubs that you can go to without fearing for your life ( steve thorn )

Policeman that could clip you round the ear and they didnt get held up on an assault charge, or teachers and parents come to that !

motoring:-
 
Indicators on vehicles
Lights that work and the police who do nothing about the thousands who think it's ok to drive with faulty lights
Motorists that when they nearly ram you off the road apologise instead of giving you a load of abuse as if it was your fault
Pedestrians who look before crossing the road, that then don't walk anyway just because they are carrying a can of stella
pedestrians that pay more attention to their own safety on roads instead of the mobile phone    ( steve thorn )
