This Old house was built by my GGrandfather--Christopher H. Preble--he was a writer, poet, musician, hunter, trapper, guide and builder!!  We have many of his writings in the family, and will be posting them on the internet, as well.  I never knew him--but, he has been a great inspiration to me, through his writings, and --the stories the family has told!! ...My nontalent for drawing is evident!!!

Influences from this great man, and, other wonderful and creative people, have inspired me to create writings-that I hope will lift those who read them.   Alot, of my work, reflects the joy that I felt as a child at Sebec Lake, Maine!!

On the water, in the water, under the water, and--through the water; and "wonderful old friends" from that time...I am slowly catching up with them after, over 40 years, and, I feel blessed..

Many tales and legends of family, and Sebec, have given me much material to work with..
