Ride Out The Storm
In a little fishing village,
On the "rocky coast" of Maine.
Amongst lobster traps,
And fishing boats--
We special people came.
Some say, "The spirit came with us"-
Instilled, when we are born;
Whatever it is,
And, from whence it came,
We're able to "ride out the storm"!
The legacy's strong, with
"Seafaring folks"
To plan, and, fix what is wrong.
when squalls are about,
And the wind comes up,
We're ready to "ride out the storm".
My roots run deep,
With sailors and mates,
Captains and Commodores, too.
Their strengths, and traits-
Are passed on, they say-
And, hopefully--I got a few!!!
So, I'll bring her about;
Head into the wind,
And, prepare--
To "ride out the storm"
