*{< The Mystical Man of Evolution >}*

Travelling across the lands of Portus is a robed figure... not robed in shadows or anything... he's just a bit chilly!!!

His husky voice, when you speak to him, offers you the option to make certain Pokemon evolve. How can he do this and why? Well, here's the ins and outs of the Mystical Man of Evolution:

As you all know, some Pokemon require certain things to evolve, other than levelling up. For example, a Machoke must be traded to evolve into Machamp just as a Poliwhirl needs a Water Stone to become a Poliwrath.
In short, this man can supply any trainer with an item to make their Pokemon evolve. Below is a table to describe how much these items cost and a quick list of which Pokemon need them to change into their more impressive forms.

The Mystical Man of Evolution may be able to make your Pokemon evolve, but sometimes he may run short on supplies. Should you meet with him expecting to  force evolution upon something that requires a stone of some kind and he doesn't have it in stock, you shall be sent on a quest to retrieve some for him. At the end of such a quest, he will give you one such stone free of charge to let your Pokemon evolve.

Now, I can tell that you are thinking: "Hey, shouldn't there be a section for things that get traded?". Well, yes, but in this case, no. If something is meant to be traded to evolve, it can simply hold the item that goes with the process. However, if it is a Haunter, Machoke, Graveller or Kadabra, the Mystical Man of Evolution can do a Presto-Chango in no time at all for absolutly no cost at all! Either that, or, as it says in the How To Play page, a manager will force evolution upon your Pokemon at the end of a random battle, so watch out!

The final method of evolution is happiness. For this, there are more than a few species that evolve and some require it to be night or day to become specific things. To put it very simply we, the managers, will force your Pokemon to evolve as and when we think you have treated them nicely enough in your trainings. You will have to make it extremely clear that you want it to evolve and we shall chose the time and place. This means that it could be several months down the line, so if you don't want it to level up before then, don't train it! However, there is a trick that the Mystical Man of Evolution can perform but it will require a completion of one of his missions. If you would like to do this, make it clear in your training and a manager will give you an objective to complete for the crazy old guy.

Finally, how do you find this guy? You don't! Haha! A manager will post in your training if he is on your Route or in your city, then you must rp him in your next post whether you decide to utilise his gifts or not.

With all that said and done, I'll leave you to your adventures with evolution in mind. Toodles!
Arrow Guy
