Why was my membership request denied?
The only memberships that may be denied are those that are clearly spamming (someone who writes in they want to join because they're looking for a date, for example), and those whose email addresses cannot be verified.
When a membership application is received, a welcome email is sent out from me. This serves two purposes -
- To welcome you and offer answers to frequently asked questions.
- To verify the email address is valid.
The verification is done to decrease spam from the group.
To ensure your email address can be validated by the group, please add "groups.msn.com/pseudotumorcerebri" to the safe list within your email program/filters.
