This page is for informational purposes only. If you suspect that you're suffering from depression, please seek the help of a trained medical professional immediately.

Even now, depression carries a bit of stigma for some people. However suffering from depression is nothing to be ashamed about, and even more not something you need to endure! There are a variety of treatments that can allow you to live life to its fullest, if you allow yourself to access them. You'll find a ton of links below relating to all aspects of depression.

You cannot simply talk yourself out of depression. There are many factors that contribute to it including (but not limited to), an imbalance of brain chemicals. This requires appropriate medical intervention and treatment.

I am not remotely qualified to begin to interpret the many different kinds of depression, or the treatments for them. But as depression affects so many of us afflicted with this often chronic and almost always painful condition, I wanted to provide some information for you to look through for yourself. One of our members, Kathy, sent me most of the links you'll find here, and I thank her for her hard work and dedication.
