Norwalk Kendo Dojo (NOR): Mondays, 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Beginning through advanced students. Click here for more information on Norwalk kendo. Click here for the iaido page on the Norwalk Kendo Dojo website.

Chuo (East L.A.) Kendo Dojo (CHUO): Second Saturdays of every month (except February and December 2008; practice is scheduled for the first Saturday of these months), 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Precedes the monthly SCKF board meeting. Click here for the monthly SCKF board meeting schedule for 2008. Also, fourth Saturdays of every month (except November and December; practice is cancelled due to holidays), 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute Kendo Dojo (PJCI): Tuesdays, 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Beginning through advanced students. Contact Peter Lichtman at plichtma@lasuperiorcourt.org to confirm practice schedule. Click here for more information on PJCI kendo.

Notes:

Beginning students: Posess no rank and/or less than two years of training. Able to perform one or more ZenKenRen iaido kata.

Intermediate students: Posess any kyu rank or shodan (1 dan) and/or at least two years of training. Able to perform all twelve ZenKenRen iaido kata.

Advanced students: Posess nidan (2 dan) or above and/or at least three years of training. Able to perform and teach all twelve ZenKenRen iaido kata plus Muso Shinden Ryu or other koryu iaido kata.

Classes are subject to cancellation or re-scheduling due to holidays, scheduling conflicts or kendo-related activities on the day before or after a scheduled practice. SCIA members will be notified via e-mail of any schedule changes. Please contact Dennis at kryptonian13@hotmail.com or consult the Message Board to confirm schedules.
