Scots In Canada    In loving Memory of our dear Nan, who will be sadly missed, May you rest in peace xx   Welcome to Scots in Canada, this group is for anyone who has anything to offer about Scotland and the people who lived there.  Can be of a genealogical nature, we have some real genealogy buffs who love to help, and are known to go on a good chase, others can suggest where to look for that long lost, hard to find ancestor!  We also love to hear of days gone by, we are open to anything pertaining to the the country of our ancestors, a good story, tales, recipes, how and why Scottish people left Scotland, how it was for the Settlers when they arrived in their new homelands, and what their lives were like.  A fairly active message board has emerged, and it does'nt take very long for an answer to be posted, come and offer your stories...
