 The Queens Porcupine No 10

March 1559

Bertha princess
It was a typical balmy morning as the marriage procession left the palace of Thead in Kunjan province, the bride to be, Bertha Child, flanked by her bridesmaids Sam Matter and Lady Gina (all dressed in traditional Indian garb), looked radiant. The prince turned up slightly late because his elephant had been scared by Sam's rabbit Muffin. Many Indian dignitaries turned up including Pasha de Pigs, Prince Ann-Etchings and Mamood is D'ark. After the ceremony the reception was held at the lake palace near the Ganges.

The latest fashion
The latest fashion was the bratchet. Yes small dogs were seen on the arms of the most fashionable people in London Town. Sir Edmund Moore wore a brace of bratchets and so he couldn't blow his nose properly, one of the dogs ended up very sticky indeed. Lord Billy didn't do a bratchet but he did a St. Bernard instead so he gets an honourable mention. Steve Adore had an adorable Yorkshire Terrier and Sir Yo Yo's sheltie used Henry Usher Monroe's leg for a lamp post as he was guarding Lord Billy! The fashion next month appears to be the baldrick, hang those swords off them!!

Party Zone
Pete Zahutt held a party for those who were back from the war on week one of February the first drink was free. Those seen taking advantage of his hospitality were Lord Billy Bonzer, who also waved a crimson and gold fan, his bodyguard Henry Usher-Monroe. Jabba drove his carriage too fast to try to get to the party on time and was fined for doing so. Bob bold stood around waving a Spiderman fan.
Jabba Zahutt also held a pie eating contest in the third week of February at the Hut, he won the contest but other close contenders were Mark of the Microphones who told some silly jokes half way through when he should have been eating, Pete whose pie was too big and Steve Adore who thought it was a magpie eating contest and was barred from entering. Yo Yo chopped up his pork pie with his dangerous fan.

Lord Athis held his Valentines Party on week two of February at Huxtables where people dressed as cherubs or hearts.

Yo Yo will be holding a party in the first week of March at Dark Mary's. It will be a Black Masque ball. Only the Black Masque isn't invited. There will be a shooting contest, bring your own apple.
