ShadowRun Online
ShadowRun Online is an online way for gamers to run the RPG.
1. No Advertising In any of the SRO's Game or OOC boards.
Also, unless you have been an active member for a good while, do not post ads for your site on the general board. Please use the link we provide below.

Spammers that join and their first post is an ad will be BANNED from the group.
2. No swearing worse than hell or damn, or any excessive sexual content. We prefer that if your character needs to swear, keep it in the feel of ShadowRun. Dreck, Frag, ECT...
This is a General rated site, for people of all ages. NO PORN
3. Never take control and speak for another player's character.
You do not move, kill, speak for, or play for another character without his or her owner's permission.
A GM may move characters for plot purposes. 4. No god-moding.
This means your character cannot be invincible or excessively powerful.
Extremely powerful characters and god moders set the threads off-balance and annoy the other players who've worked so hard to create such interesting characters. Again, this rule can be over ridden by the GM and he/she can allow players to become exsessively and overly powerful (but only in THAT particular thread). The characters must be inline with all ShadowRun rules and regs. It doesn't matter what edition, or house rules, but it must be in writing where the GM can see it.
5. No arguing OOC on the boards.
If someone reports a fight or argument we will delete it.
If you really need to argue, argue on the OOC threads of the game board, not the game board itself.
6. Any change in the plot MUST be discussed with your GM.
Any changes to the plot itself, will result in the post being deleted. If you need to change the story slightly to bring your character in then PLEASE speak to the GM.
7. Follow the Golden Rule
If you need someone strongly reprimanded, email the GM and he or she will see to it.
Do not make your own thread on the General Board OR the Bored Board yelling at them! In other words: treat others with respect, or you won't be getting any from anybody else. This is intended as a friendly writing environment.
8. Do NOT create threads for your game in places created for other games.
This includes other 'useless' threads, which aren't related to the game in any way.
9. To Use the General Board
Use the General Board is for Annoucements by the management only. Please do not post on the general board. If you are bored, post in the Bored Boards.
10. The word of the GM is law
In whatever game you participate in, (Except for the FFRPG Games), there is always game master (GM) that calls the shots for the overall plotline, and just what is and is not allowed to happen within the story. Treat them with respect, and never ignore them when they are speaking directly to you, OOC, or IC. All GM's have the power to kick you out of their game if you arent following their rules. Also remember, all the regular rules apply to the GM's too.
11. The FFRPG thread
FFRPG is a free form RPG game. It is where a GM does not regulate posts and the story is around that area only.
For example, in Jump Horse bar, it's only for the bar. No running of games in the FFRPG areas.
12. For game Threads,
GM's name your game and keep all comments for the game in that thread. You should do a game thread and an OOC thread for your game.
For example, the game is Flamers Furry. The thread is Flamers Furry, and a thread of OOC Flamers Furry.
