An Introduction :
The Shadowed Path is not for the Light of Heart of the Righteous of Soul. Sacrafices must be made to gain as you wander down this twisting, narrow way through the aether, and past Morals are no longer useful. This is not the way of the spiteful or malicious spirits that sweep through the planes in hopes of power and torture, but the way of the wise and understanding, the way of those who do not allow narrow views of good and evil, of right and wrong, constrict upon their ambition. The Dark aspects of paganism are not the Taboo that most modern "Wiccans" and "Witches" claim them to be, in their own obvious fear, and shallow concept of magick and the occult.
Throughout time there have been evil mages and dark sorcereers haunting the dreams of children and fairytales were woven from this concept, when in acctuallity, most pagans of these times were solitary practitioners, more often than not healers and herbalists...This is of course not to say, there was not the stray "Evil Wizard" wandering the gloom.
Able to follow a Pantheon of the practitioners choice, the dark gods and goddesses are the chosen dieties of most Dark Pagans, giving them freedom to do as they choose, because unlike the Gods of Good, who limit their followers to only good, the Dark Gods rarely limit their followers to pushing suffering and decay upon others, but leave them free to do as they choose.. Dark Paganism is not about Hexes and Curses, it is about the balance of good and evil, and the idea that both are needed to keep this existance in sync. In the pages following are resources for those interested in the dark arts, if they are a firm practitioner of the healing arts, with simply an interest in the darker ways of magick and an understanding of balance, or someone interested in truely following the paths of shadow.
