First of all, I want to dedicate this page to my three favorite dogs as well as mycat who are in heaven right now...The dogs names were Odie, Spunky, and Tony.  My cat's name was Pepper.   Odie  and Tony were basset hounds and Spunky was a Boston Terrier.   Odie was best friends with my cat Pepper.  He was my grandma and grandpa's dog  (as was Tony) and we used to take care of him every summer.  When Odie died, Pepper didn't eat for two weeks.  When Pepper died at home he had his head laying next to a basset hound stuffed animal as if to tell us he went to be with Odie.   Tony died of Valley Fever.  It's a nasty fungus that lives in the desert and gets in your lungs, both animal and human.  Now my grandparents have a new basset named Henry.  We don't have a cat anymore but I have a Boston Terrier named Max.  We rescued Max from an abusive home.  My other favorite dog was Spunky.  She was my blind Boston Terrier that we rescued from death row.  She died a couple years ago at  about 15 years of age.  She was very special to me.

We had rescued "Pepper"...he used to be a wild cat...never came in the house and never used a cat box.  He always liked to bring us gifts...like, dead lizards without their heads, and dead birds (sometimes alive) and bugs.  He always laid them on the living room carpet as a present for us.  His favorite thing to do was sit by the window and watch the birds...he loved  thinking he was the greatest hunter.

This is not a very good picture but I wanted to share with you my special blind Boston Terrier, Spunky, who died a few years ago.   We rescued her from death row...she was blind.  Some horrible person had used her as a breeder and abused her then she was discarded when they were finished with her.  We didn't know her exact age but gave her a birthday on the same day as mine and she was about 15 years old when she died.   She was so wonderful!  She was the most loving dog anyone could have had...she got around great and only wanted to love someone.

Horses are one of my favorite animals...I don't have one but I wish I did...I want to take lessons someday.

Favorite Sport to watch (other than skating):  FOOTBALL!

Oh yes, I have to tell you that I am a die-hard Cornhusker football fan.  I can't help it.  It's just in my blood for some reason.  I love Nebraska football and you know, Tom Osborne, the former head football coach is a favorite of mine.  I have a picture of him, his wife Nancy, and me all together at a banquet that the "Arizonans 4 Nebraska" held.  I follow all the games because I just love college football.
