SPIRITUALISM IS...

The Science, Religion, Philosophy of continuous life based on the seven principles brought from spirit through the mediumship of Emma Hardinge Britten for our guidance and spiritual progress.

AS A RELIGION

God is the first principle in our lives.  All life progresses from God in an ordered fashion.

AS A SCIENCE

We can examine all theories according to known principles of examination and classifications as found in all scientific endeavours.  With each new, proven idea in science, we find the ordered existence of life.

AS A PHILOSOPHY

This allows us to live within Natural Laws of existence to bring about our happiness and wellbeing or to contravene the Law and reap the illness, disease, disharmony, and confusion of a godless existence.

Fatherhood of God: All life progresses from the seed of its genetic patterning, fertilized by the spirit of life.  As we see in nature, a tree will always be a tree according to its species, but an acorn can only become the oak when the many conditions of growth are met.

Brotherhood of Man: God as a Spirit of life, is in all life forms.  It is what makes each of us the same in spirit. It is what makes us all a oneness of all life.  When man creates life through genetics, it is only complete when the spark of life brings breath and life the existence of a new soul. (Soul = Breath)

Communion of Spirit and the Ministry of Angels: We can commune with nature and be re-energized through our contact with trees, water, plants and all forms of life; spirit to spirit.  It is the attunement of spirit, one with the other, which allows us to find peace and harmony in our soul, from our contact with nature and other forms of life, as well as our contact and interaction with each other.

God's messengers, angels, are those that would help to make our lives easier to handle over the rough patches.  This allows us to commune with spirit through our attunement to bring love from discarnate loved ones and friends, so to prove there is NO DEATH and life does continue after the change called death.  This proof comes to us through our sensitives' (Mediums') ability to communicate with guides, guardians, teachers from the spirit world, to which we all pass at death.

Continuous Existence of the Human Soul:  We are seeds of God's garden and with the blossom of our lives, we again are seeded with God.

Personal Responsibility:  There are no crutches (no saviours, no future/past lives, no theories of abrogating our own responsibility) to lean upon instead of our own understanding of our own mistakes.  As we come in touch with our own responsibilities, we realize that we can only take any responsibility for self and the importance of giving this same responsibility to others. 

We live within the Natural Law and find that the Golden Rule, put into practice, is our best and most healing and healthful attitude that we can take to life and all its challenges.  If we put out negative word, thought, or deed, we will reap the same in our own time - that is the law.  It is growing spiritually and allowing others the same prerogative.

Compensation and Retribution hereafter for all the Good and Evil Deeds done on Earth:  This is the law of Cause and Effect.  As you grow spiritually, you will realize how swiftly the law ensues within your life and affairs.  There is no deathbed confession to spiritualize your life and actions.  There is no saviour of your actions - there is only the law.  "As we sow, so shall we reap."

Eternal Progress Open to Every Human Soul:  There is no cessation of life, all is evolution, progress is eternal.  What a promise!  No matter our spiritual attainments in our earthly progression, there is always progress to higher and higher spheres of spiritual awareness and attainment.
 
LOVE, like life, is stronger than death.  It is love that proves to be the compelling force striving to break down the barriers, which man in his ignorance has created.  God is the creative and universal spirit.  Wherever there is life, there is spirit and wherever there is spirit there is life. 

We exist because a spark of Divinity is within each one of us - the relationship in which God is our Father and we are all His children.  Knowledge is infinite and we shall always be learning.  We have caught a glimmer of Truth and it inspires us to search for more, accepting that which is logical and uplifting.
