Below is another experience I received from a young woman who wishes to remain anonymous living on the Moors in Todmorden, Yorkshire, England. I will call this lady Sarah. With the majority of UFO sightings there is just the observation with no abduction related event connected to it, but in the case below, the subject was confused about possible ‘missing time’, and dreams that she had on the night of the UFO sighting. Her experience is typical of the ‘onset’ of a possible alien abduction, and like that of John Summers, starseeker and Lily, she shows signs of being a possible alien abductee:
I would like to discuss with you a strange experience my partner and I had in November 1994. It has haunted me ever since and I feel now is the time to obtain some feed back or any advice offered about our encounter with a strange flying object. We lived up on the moors above Todmorden. Our front window faced towards the Littleborough area. About 1500 ft away (a wild guess) were 2 hills with a gap between them. At about 6.00 p.m. my partner looked out of the window and asked me to come and look at a bright white light he could see. (I don’t know the exact date, other than it was around Bonfire night, because our first thoughts were that it could be a firework, but this idea was quickly dismissed),
I immediately walked over and saw the light; it was central to the gap but behind and above the height of the hills. It was larger and brighter than all the stars and much lower down. It was a totally clear night with very good visibility. I went and fetched the binoculars and we went outside to get a better view. We watched it for about 15 minutes. Without trying to sound silly, it was a traditional flying saucer shape with a larger dome on what I perceived to be the top. At times it pulsated green and then red, at times it was luminous white. We could see it moving slowly downwards, at other times it darted about (within a small area) very quickly. It turned on to it’s side and would appear round. We were both exited and could not believe what we were seeing. All the things we observed could be seen through the binoculars, but also by the other person, as we kept saying to each other ‘did you see that?’ It was however clearer through the binoculars, and whilst it was round, it had circles of lights and also rows of lights going from the center towards the edge, these lights pulsated green then red.
It then turned white and grew larger and we realized it was coming towards us. Another strange thing was that there was no sound at all, and it is always deathly quiet on a still night on the moors. Yes it was definitely getting larger and at this point I panicked and urged my partner to come indoors. He hung about outside until my nagging won the day and he came indoors. The time was 6.20pm. The strangest thing about this incident is the next few hours - we can not account for them fully. I remember looking out of the window and of then noticing the time - it was 10.30pm. This could be fanciful imagination on my part, but my partner is very down to Earth and he is also unsure about what happened.
That night we both had a strange dream that was the same in parts. In my dream I dreamed that we were crouching in the front garden behind a wall hiding from this white light. My partner told me to run in to the house and he would go to the row of terraces down the track for help. This is where our dreams become different. I seem to remember we had a discussion about where I should run - around the side of the house and along the track at the back of the house, or into the house. In my dream I remember running along the track, I got a long way down the track but had to go back to see what had happened to my partner. Other bits of the dream are not clear - for some reason I dreamed I submerged myself in a water trough. My partner was shouting at me to hide, to go away, and there was a bright white light and I went towards it. I will not relate the dreams my partner had because I feel I could not get the details correct.
I feel really dubious about saying this, may be I am mad, but shortly after this happened I had an out of body experience. I will not go into details, as the two things are probably not connected. About 3 years ago I had a dream totally out of the blue, I was shown an alien looking baby - I was told it was my baby! I have more memories of that dream but I am a bit upset now! I hope this is taken seriously in the spirit it is intended. I have reported the sighting before but was not ready then to tell the full story I just wanted it to be noted.
May be another chapter in the story is that I am starting a degree in microbial science in September. I must admit this sometimes makes me wonder if I am treading a pathway to try to help them as I said I would in my dream. The degree includes genetic engineering and cloning. Two years ago I also qualified as a Bowen practitioner. Please treat this confidentially, as I do not want to be known as a mad scientist. When I am qualified I want to work in researching disease. Have other people in England had similar things happen to them? Even if the dreams are just that, we still saw a very strange craft. I now live under the local helicopter flight path so I know it was not one of them. It was also not a conventional plane. Any explanations are welcome. Thanks for listening.
