 Mackenzie Thorpe

Known as Kenzie-The wild Goose Man

Mackenzie Thorpe was a poacher turned Gamekeeper who spent his years in Sutton Bridge.

He worked as a guide, taking wildfowlers out on the Wash to shoot and he also worked for Sir Peter Scott when he was in residence at East Bank Lighthouse.

A very good book by Colin Willock was published, called Kenzie, Wild Goose Man.

Kenzie was quite a character by all accounts.
