Hours for swimming will be 11:00AM to 8:00 PM daily weather permitting through Labor Day. New Jersey State Sanitary Code Requirements: Any person showing evidence of any communicable skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharges, or any other communicable disease shall be denied admission. Any person with excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts, or bandages shall be denied admission. Do not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering from diarrhea or have had any signs or symptoms of a gastrointestinal (stomach) disease in the past seven days. All children in diapers must wear plastic pants with snug fitting elastic waist and leg bands. Do not wash soiled diapers in the bathing water. Children should be encouraged to use the restroom before entering the water. Immediately report any "accidents" you observe in the bathing waters to a lifeguard. No animals, except for service animals, shall be allowed in the swimming pool, wading pool, hot tub, or spa area, dressing rooms or other parts of the enclosure. Glass containers shall be prohibited. All persons shall shower before entering the water. Conduct whish endangers the safety and comfort of others shall be prohibited. Outdoor bathing shall be prohibited during an electrical storm. Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall be prohibited from entering the water. Club Rules: In an emergency, THREE (3) whistle blasts means CLEAR THE LAKE IMMEDIATELY. This procedure will be practiced from time to time, as it is an emergency drill. In case of thunder/lighting, the lake will be cleared for 20 minutes. Children under the age of thirteen (13) must be supervised by an adult, while in the lake area. It is suggested that inflatable devices be confined to the shallow end of the lake. However, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are inflatable devices (water wings, bubbles, rings, boats, rafts, etc.) permitted in the deep end diving board side of the lake. Only Coast Guard approved life vests are permitted for non-swimmers in this area. Lifeguards may test any swimmer wishing to swim in the deep area. An adult MUST by in the water supervising any non-swimmer under the age of 6. Swimming under the dock is NOT PERMITTED. Do not throw anything or anyone into the lake. Rafts and boats are permitted only at the discretion of the lifeguards. Glass containers of any kind are not permitted in the lake area. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the lake area. PLEASE DO NOT SOCIALIZE WITH THE LIFEGUARDS WHILE THEY ARE ON DUTY. The Sportpark is maintained by club members, who are unpaid volunteers. Please help us to keep our facility clean by using the trash containers provided or taking your refuse home with you. Please police your area when leaving and be sure that you take all personal belongings with you. The club cannot be responsible for property that is left. Diving Board Regulations: The diving board should be used only by those people who can swim. Only ONE bounce on the end of the board is allowed. All diving and jumping must be done in a straight line from the end of the board. Diving or jumping from the side of the board is prohibited. Anyone going off the board must look before diving or jumping to make sure the water is clear of another swimmer. The diver’s hands must enter the water first during a head entry dive. Divers must swim to the steps immediately after a dive. Please Also review CLUB RULES
