A little about me...

On the spiritual side the question that I am asked the most is...

"How long have you been reading the Tarot Cards?" I have been reading the cards for over 35 years. I was drawn to the Tarot as an art form first and as I started shuffling the cards and reading for my friends for the next few months, I became amazed at the accuracy of the readings and how they provided hope for those who asked the questions. My first deck was the Aquarian deck. However, now I feel comfortable using the Universal Waite, the Motherpeace Round, Hanson-Roberts, Merry Day, Vision Quest and the Cosmic Tribe decks, the latter being one of the newest. I have a collection of over 60 decks and it is growing. As I started using the cards more and more, I became affiliated with a professional astrologer and we combined our services for a time. Now, I incorporate Astrology with every reading. Lately, I have been drawn to the Runes and Runecasting and I am currently devouring anything written on this subject. I would like to incorporate the Runes into every reading as well. I have my Sun in Aries, my Moon in Aquarius, and my Rising Sign is in Capricorn. My Sun and Mercury (both in Aries) and are both conjunct in the 3rd house--so many people think that I am a Gemini. I have Scorpio on the Mid-heaven, with Neptune in Libra conjunct which gives me an interest in beautiful and spiritual things. And naturally, I became drawn to the earth based belief system and worshipped as a solitary practitioner for many years. I was a founding member and secretary for a local Temple and the Coven and have recently resigned to devote more time to teaching and writing. I have recently become an ordained Minister. I believe the Universe has provided the Tarot deck's images as tools for empowerment and positive affirmations and that is how a reading should be done for others. The querants should walk away from their readings with a clear picture of their choices for future decision making and with very defined hopes for the future.
