I think most of us know what spam is. It's all those unwanted emails about mortgages, pornography and scams on how to get rich. They flood our inboxes until we get enough of them and we make another email account.

Another very sad thing is that today's industry pays hundreds of millions of dollars a year. In recent studies it was found out that people have an approximate of 40% spam emails.

How to prevent spam?

  1. Read carefully the Privacy Policy if you you want to give your email to any mailing list.
  2. Never show your email in your member profile
  3. If you're gonna give your email somewhere, make sure that it's somewhere safe.
  4. And when you get tired of all this, forward your spam to  uce@ftc.gov ( Federal Trade Commision)

Oh yes, the good boys from the Federal Trade Commision. That's where most of the people forward their spam emails. These boys got all the law behind them, so if you want to make a living out of spamming, you better think ahead. They'll take legal action on you and your company, having you to pay lots of cash.
