The unwritten rule is, of course, that you must, MUST have a BIO which must be approved before you start RP'ing :)
Sorry if it seems there is alot, but if you read them and obey them they will stop most annoying things in RP's and make them more fun for you :) note: they are not in order of most important!
?Please don't just jump strait to the general board and ask "what do I do?" actualy look around first! The pages you must look at in order to make your bio are Important Info, What and where is TDH?, Size Scales, Make A Bio. It will also help to check out Dragon Info and have a look at our many species we have on offer. We have most of the common dragon species as well many original ones made especially for The Dragons Haven. Unfortunately you can't make your own species up or use those from films and books ect. Managers are more then happy to answer questions if your still stuck after having read the pages. Most of the common questions you will find all ready answered amongst the pages and especially in Imortant Info. Its a lot to read but very helpfull and informative and gives you an insight to what TDH is about ^_^

?BACK DOWN SOMETIMES FROM A FIGHT!! An animal only fights when necessary. If you get too injured then that is a good time to run away. Like if you have a broken limb or you are bleeding badly....
?Dont cause fights for no reason, or dis peoples dragons if they are not in the rp with you.
?DONT GOD PLAY!! This includes controling other peoples characters, putting words in other characters mouths and also being immune to all attacks and killing things with one bite. Do not control the emotions of other characters. This also includes if you are posioned - your dragon WILL SUFFER what ever the other person says the poison will and can do, even if its only for one turn. If someone else God Modes don't retort! Tell a manager and we will sort it out, Masters should know better.
?Dont kill other peoples characters without their permission!
?Dont piss off other rp'ers by going on about how great your character is, ITS REALLY ANNOYING and you won't get anywhere, as you'll just get people doing it back, getting pissed of at you. Respect each others characters.
?TELL US IF YOUR GOING TO BE AWAY!! This is so your dragons won't be put in adoption board, WE HAVE TO DO THIS if you are away for more than 2 weeks without telling us, space is short and we have to save what space we have!!!! here is where you tell us if you are going to be away: let us know
?Don't take over or write people out from their own RP. Also dont point the original rpers storyline in a different direction - keep to the flow of it!!
?If an RP has been going for sometime by other RPers and you want join in, then ask and dont take over it as they get annoyed!
?Dont request a pic then not use it, the artist has the right to then refuse to draw you anymore pictures and may well give your character pic to someone who wants it. Please don't start up hundreds of requesting messages at once, look at the artists who are available! And remember, the requests are mainly for use on this site! If you like your picture it would be really nice if you can post a link to this site on yours somwhere.
?Don't use art that specificly states that you can not use it in the artists guidelines! Please ask permission before using our artists work if it is for another site. Do not join just to request art that will be used on another site be an active role player here!!
?Please dont copy The Haven lay-out, this means do not use our ideas, be they the things in sign up (voice, theme tunes etc) as WE thought them up ourselves! Do not steal graphics if you want ones for your own site then make a request on dragon drawings and present HQ decent pictures!
?Do not steal RPers characters for other sites if you want to use characters from the Haven just ask! Members caught stealing rpers characters will be banned automaticly without warning.
?NO PORN, OR DISTURBING PICTURES OF ANY KIND!!!!!
?Do NOT cause pointless OOC (Out Of Character) Messages in the middle of RP's! it ruins them! And don't advertise your site during RP's Managers do keep an eye out on suspicious rp's and have right to delete any message linking to another site.
?Please do not advertise your site WITHOUT a message asking us if its ok first! (please send these messages to the general board only)
?No extra accounts for more characters, please don’t bother doing this you will screw up and be found sooner or later and when you do you will be asked to drop your suspected extended accounts, trust us we know when your doing this people make it too obvious!
?No dragon sex! its VERY unrealistic not to mention disturbing so please don’t attempt it!! Think of the size of the dragon, they would not be able to do it long enough to enjoy anything, as if they did the male would crush his partners spine with his weight, please keep things tasteful there are kids on this group after all!!!!!
?No human forms unless you have a species, on which it is written, has a human form. If you really must, ask Drakell and she will consider.
?Do not multi post! This means no double posting, reposting or spamming!!! You will only be warned twice about this so please think carefully about your posts when posting on non rp boards. Its become such a hassle to warn members about double posting that its now an official rule! If you have been told not to do it, don't repeat the offence! MSN does'nt have editing tools that message boards like Pro Boards or Invassion do but so long as you don't rush your post their should be no reason to double or multi post. It makes boards look a mess -.-
Please don't repeat offences we have rules for a reason by which they are meant to be followed! If you have read them you are expected to follow them as well to prove you have please put at the start of your bio the word "Haven" just above the Dragon Species option, the conditions provided on Create a bio are official rules which you MUST agree to inorder role play if you don't agree to them you will not allowed to be able to role play.
