"Hit Making Team" Chairman Joe Esposito, Ray Walker of the Jordanaires, John Krondes and others members chose "If I Can Dream" to salute the king in his memory. "If I Can Dream is the close of the '68 Comeback Special as a song of peace. It is sung today in hopes of bringing a treaty of friendship to the people of the world. As a new life in music is created with the young John Krondes, ironically Elvis Presley's life in song has found a new beginning and continues til the end of time. "The End", the beautiful first recording by John Krondes and The Jordanaires, which essentially started this undertaking, was written by John's late father Jimmy Krondes and Sid Jacobson. Ironically Elvis sang "The End" to his future wife Priscilla the night they met in Germany. This very same song that Presley was scheduled to record near the time of his death has now come to be known contrarily to its title "The End" as a fresh new start in the powerful music making operation of the Elvis Presley "Hit Making Machine."
