Outstanding Volunteer 2003 Ontario Volunteer Awards Recipient! Hameed Shaqq ("The Pan Piper") is an outstanding volunteer, who is ready to contribute his time and skills as a talented musician any time he knows of a worthy cause that needs him. MicroSkills has had the opportunity to benefit from his live steel pan music at many of our community events since 1994. He has helped us to raise funds at our annual fundraising barbecues and provided entertainment at our annual volunteer recognition evenings. We have found him to be pleasant and willing to share his time, knowledge and skills with others, in particular with children at our events. In addition, we have met him in a number of other community settings doing the same. He continues living his philosophy of giving a helping hand to the community, even now when he has reached a level of fame and recognition in Toronto and other parts of the world. http://www.microskills.ca/ Recordings on CD: PLANET PAN | Oui!!
